Arlen Group It is a leading company in the Polish market and one of several leading entities in Europe with more than 30 years of history, specializing in the production of special protective clothing and individual equipment items intended for law enforcement agencies that have their own large-scale production facilities. The Group has a modern machine park (4 production facilities in the country) and its own specialized laboratory and R&D center.Arlen Group combines the production of finished products – protective clothing, backpacks and fabrics. This business model places it among the few organizations in the industry that are fully integrated vertically, and is the source of many competitive advantages. The most important customers to whom the Arlen Group directs its offer are uniform services (army, police, fire service) and business entities from specialized industries – m.in. fuel, chemical and fertilizer companies, as well as clothing rentals (rentalu), operating both in Poland and abroad. In addition, the group is also a manufacturer of specialized fabrics – mainly laminated and backpack fabrics.

Arlen Group’s development strategy is aimed at further increasing sales by expanding its product range and continuing to expand in European markets. In the coming years, Arlen will benefit from increased demand for its products due to rising rebar costs.

The Arlen Group is a leader in the Polish market and one of several leading entities in Europe specializing in the production of special protective and technical clothing and personal equipment items intended for uniforms – mainly backpacks, as well as image clothing (the so-called imagewear) and a warning note. Over the course of its 30-year history, Arlen has repeatedly been a harbinger of the use of new high-quality, protective or durable technologies made of fabrics or original clothing designs. In the protective clothing segment, the Group offers clothing made from laminated fabrics – waterproof and vapor-permeable, also with a camouflage print (infrared remission), as well as anti-electrostatic and acid-resistant. Arlen Group is one of the few European suppliers of special protective clothing for law enforcement agencies that have their own (national) large-scale production facilities. Between 2021 and 2023, the Arlen Group’s garment factories produced at least 750,000 garments per year, and Optex s. a., the group’s company, produced approx. 3 million meters of fabric, which puts the Arlen Group at the very forefront of domestic as well as European manufacturers of specialized fabrics and protective clothing.

The Group has a state – of-the-art machine fleet, integrating the production of fabrics and finished products-protective clothing and backpacks-into its operations, which gives it an advantage over its competitors. Optex s. a. ‘ s fabric production meets its own demand for Arlen Group fabrics, which makes it one of the few vertically integrated suppliers in Poland and Europe in the textile and clothing sector and allows us to fully control the final product quality, which is key in obtaining orders for the most demanding customers. The group also includes garment factories producing protective clothing for the security services located in Arlen s. a. (factory in Girarduwa) and Arlen-Tec SP. o. o. with headquarters in Tarnow and Tailor-ATG SP. o. o. with headquarters in Dzierzhonuwa, in total, about 210 seamstresses work. In 2026, the Arlen Group was joined by the Tarnowskie Gora garment factories (ZOTG).

The Group has an extensive research department of fabrics, its own clothing manufacturing bureau with unique competencies in the domestic market, and a specialized laboratory. The laboratory focuses its activities on studying the application and production parameters of new fabrics, as well as on constant quality control of products for conducting tenders.

The institutional client, whether in uniform or in the industrial sector, requires that the clothing or its specialized factory receive a certificate issued by the relevant institutes and certification centers before mass production. Based on the research of accredited laboratories, the manufacturer-Arlen s. a. – submits an application for a certificate, without which it cannot start the tender process or sign a contract for the supply of products after winning it. Specialized clothing is made under the supervision of the inspection department and our own laboratory from high-quality materials, including aramid fibers or their mixtures, laminated polyesters or polyamides, which are durable, resistant to damage and contamination, and also protect against weather conditions and adverse environmental factors. Many products of this type are also equipped with special features and elements, such as pockets, zippers and insulation, which provide users with special comfort and functionality.

Highly effective cooperation with many public and private sector entities, based on long-term relationships, supported by success in fulfilling demanding orders, barriers to entry to the market.

The most important recipients and potential recipients of the group’s offer include uniform services (Army, Border Guard Service, Frontex, special services, police, customs and tax service, fire service, Uniform services of other states, etc.) and business entities from specialized industries – m.in. fuel, chemicals and fertilizers. For several years, the group has also been a leading manufacturer and supplier for service in the form of individual equipment elements-mainly backpacks (mountain infantry trays). Contracts executed by a group of professional clients from the public sector-a group of clients that are formed by entities owned by the Treasury or also indirectly or directly controlled by the Treasury, as well as unified services operating within the structures of other states (contracts executed in the Polish market for this group of clients are concluded mainly in the public procurement mode)
